Ever After Films ("we", "us", the "studio") is a small wedding film and photography business based in Bend, Oregon. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use our website or work with us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

We only collect information you give us, and information that your browser hands us automatically when you visit the site.
We use your information to actually do our job: answering inquiries, preparing pricing guides, coordinating weddings, and following up afterward.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.
We share information only with the narrow set of service providers that help us run the studio, and only the minimum they need to do their job.
We also may disclose information if required by law, a valid subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of anyone involved.
This site uses a small number of cookies. All of them are either essential (keeping forms from double-submitting) or purely analytical (understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it). We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to measure how visitors move through the site. Google may use this data in line with its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies below.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site will break if you do.
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal information. You can exercise any of them by emailing hello@everafterweddingfilms.com, and we'll respond within 30 days.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted archival storage for wedding files, and access limited to the people at the studio who need it. No system is perfect. We do the honest work of keeping yours safe.
We keep inquiry records for up to 24 months, contracted wedding files for a minimum of seven years (for tax and archival purposes), and gallery streaming links indefinitely unless you ask otherwise.
This website is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we've received such information, we'll delete it.
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. If the change is significant, we'll email past clients who are still on our contact list.
Questions, complaints, or requests are read by a human at the studio, usually within a day or two.
